Building Inspector

Kingston’s Building Inspector works on a part-time basis to ensure that construction throughout town is conducted in accordance with the town’s regulations and with the duly adopted building code. He works along with the town’s other inspection services – Fire, Electrical, and Health – to review construction plans, monitor construction, and approve final projects for occupancy. 

A one to two week review period may be required between submittal of an application and issuance of the permit. It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide the documentation necessary to allow the Inspector to determine a project’s level of compliance with rules and regulations.
