PREPARE NOW FOR SNOW EMERGENCIES & POWER OUTAGES

Secure adequate stores of water.  Line your bathtub if possible and fill it with water for use in flushing toilets.  Store bottled water for drinking (approximately one gallon per person per day)

Have an alternative heating source that's safe to operate indoors.

Charge cell phones and mobile devices

Check flashlights and battery operated radios

Decide where you'll go if your're not going to stay home (family, friends, shelter)

Put food on ice in a cooler - stock enough to last for 24-48 hours without power.  Open the refrigerator only when absolutely necessary.

Check on elderly neighbors and relatives who may need assistance.
