The 325th Anniversary Celebration Committee is Kicking off On April 8, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Kingston Town Hall

Residents - Volunteers - All welcome to help start planning the August 2019 event

 

To All Kingston Residents and Surrounding Towns:

Kingston has been a town since 1694! Help celebrate our rich history and the amazing town that Kingston has become.  Planning, fundraising, and generally making this celebration happen is going to take alot of time, effort and love.  This will be a wonderful chance to get to know your fellow residents and to make a real contribution to your community.  This will be a week-long celebration running from July 27th through August 4th, 2019. 

Come to the kick-off meeting on April 8, 2017 (Saturday) at 10:00 pm, at the Town Hall. 

Agenda:

Overview of the past (300th) Celebration
Discussion on the 2017 Warrant Article which creates a 12-person committee
Identify town groups to participate in and support the parade and celebration
Discuss and form committees in order to make the celebration a success
Discuss next steps and action items.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and/or to volunteer to join a committee or subcommittee.
