Got solar panels?? Starting with 2024, assessment for solar installations is $500 per panel, as opposed to the  old formula of $5,000 per system. This assessed value can be 100% exempted, but property owners MUST apply for this exemption. (If you already have the exemption, the new formula will be applied automatically.) The form is the PA-29, which must be submitted by April 15 to receive the exemption in this tax year. Questions may be directed to the Assessing office.

Winter Parking Regulations during Snow Removal
Town Regulation: Article 1005.4  
It is unlawful to park on the street during snow removal operations in such a manner as to hinder snow removal.Violators will be fined $50.00 for each occurrence and the vehicle will be towed and its owner will be responsible for towing and storage fees.

Newton Transfer Station-
The Newton Transfer Station is open to residents of Kingston. Bulk items and construction materials will be accepted, but no cardboard.
Please be prepared to pay in exact change or by personal check, as no change will be given.  For additional information- see flyer.

The address of the transfer station is 4 Dugway Road (off Amesbury Rd) Newton, NH. Please call 603-382-7250 with any questions

John’s Truck & Auto Salvage, located at 71A New Boston Road, is now accepting white goods (appliances, grills, etc.), tires and batteries for recycling.
There is no charge for this service; please bring your items in during business hours.


WASTE MANAGEMENT

The Town contracts with Waste Management of Londonderry and Rochester for residential solid waste and recycling pickup and disposal.

Report a missed pickup:  If containers were curbside before 7am and were not emptied, report a missed pickup by calling Waste Management at (800) 972–4545.  Remember to identify yourself as a resident of Kingston New Hampshire as Waste Management covers towns of the same name in Massachusetts and New York.

Note that there is no solid waste or recycling pick up on New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Pick-up is delayed by one day for each day following the holiday in the week in which the holiday falls.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT STYROFOAM IS NOT RECYCLABLE!

DO NOT DISPOSE OF STYROFOAM PRODUCTS IN YOUR RECYCLING BIN.
